Teach Grammar thro' Songs

PREPOSITIONS

Prepositions always run

Before a Noun or Pronoun!

They convey my learner

The place and time and manner!

There is a town on the coast.

The West Indies off the coast.

Into the well jumped a lion.

Died in the well the poor lion!

Between the hills, a stream does flow.

Among the leaves, a rose does glow!

Beside the house, a bunk does lie.

Behind the house, some junk does lie!

Over the hat, a bat does fly.

Under the cat, a rat does lie.

Along the street, a man does stroll.

Across the street, a can does roll.

At one in the afternoon,

In the month of jolly June,

She sang sweetly a nice tune

And she caught her good fortune!

He’s not seen you for ten days.

They go to church on Sundays.

I have been here since Monday.

She stayed at home on Friday.

The poor always go by train.

The rich travel in a plane.

Peddlers always go on foot

From door to door, selling fruit.

Nature is God! Let us save Nature!

How Satanic Man Has Grown!

Who is God and what is God?

God is sound and sound is God!

Streams and birds drum and hum and pray to God!

Men and machines chatter and clatter and prey on God!

Who is God and what is God?

God is air and air is God!

Musk deer and jasmines fill the air with fragrance and please God!

People and vehicles spit out foul fumes and tease God!

Who is God and what is God?

God is water and water is God!

The earth and the heaven become the holy home for God!

Firms and farms fill that temple with lethal filth!

How satanic man has grown!
